First I worked close to the tide line on wet sand drawing in response to the rhythm of the surf. Up the beach in dry sand the drawing continued with brush and sharp ink lines with a bamboo pen. This loose and intuitive nature-based abstraction explores the raw, experimental side of the creative process.
